Kuldeep Bishnoi- An Introduction
Kuldeep Bishnoi, son of Sh. Bhajan Lal, former Chief Minister of Haryana, has progressed through various phases to become a successful person in all walks of life.
Sh. Bhajan Lal, a well known and active politician in India's political scenario had no political connection or history before he entered active politics. Born into a modest family in small and backward village of Kodawali in Bhawalpur state of Pakistan, it was his sheer determination to work for the upliftment of rural areas that made him a successful politician. He is considered an integral pillar in Haryana’s politics and a prominent figure in Indian politics as well.
Kuldeep apart from being a popular politician, is also a family man. Happily married and blessed with two sons and a daughter Kuldeep manages to spend quality time with his family in spite of his hectic political life. He likes to keep his family and friends circle private. He enjoys his time with his family within tranquillity of his home, and likes to be with his children, supporting them in various aspects of their formative years.
A religious person, Kuldeep believes in the oneness of God and is equally respectful of all religious values. Bishnoi interacts with people from all walks of life and celebrates all festivals with them. He visits religious places and believes in the equality of all faiths.
The Bishnois are worshipers of nature. One of the twenty nine principals followed by them is "JEEV DAYA PALNI, RUNKH LILA NAHI GHAVE”. This means protect trees and wild animals. And a Bishnoi, Kuldeep is naturally inclined towards environmental issues.
Although Kuldeep started taking interest in politics from a very young age, he started his active political career in 1987, campaigning for his mother. Kuldeep contested his first assembly election in the year 1998 and became an MLA. First time in the electoral history a bye-election was won by an opposition party leader.
Kuldeep emerncged from his father’s shadow and won the toughest by-election in the history of Haryana. The state assembly seat was won for the first time by an opposition candidate.
Born in an active political family, Kuldeep is Currently Representing Adampur constituency in Haryana Vidhan Sabha and guiding his party Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) in the capacity of party president.
Kuldeep won his first Lok Sabha election from Bhivani constituency. It was an extraordinary achievement as it was for the first time in 15 years that a Congress party candidate won this seat.
Kuldeep has inherited his political legacy from his father. He believes in issue-based politics and has a modern approach of looking into various matters.
Kuldeep’s progressive approach, and inherent skills as a politician prepare the ground for him to surpass the political achievements of his father.
