Father Sh. Bhajan Lal 
Ch. Bhajan Lal, a well known and active politician in India's political scenario had no political connection or history before he entered active politics.
Born into a modest family in small and backward village of Kodawali in Bhawalpur state of Pakistan, it was his sheer determination to work for the upliftment of rural areas that made him a successful politician.
He is considered an integral pillar in Haryana’s politics and a prominent figure in Indian politics as well.It was only Ch. Bhajan lal ji’s popularity among the people of Haryana that they entrusted him the responsibilities of chief minister not once but thrice.
He in the capacity of chief minister of Haryana, tried his best to resolve the problems of Haryana .To resolve the water crisis in Haryana, The work on SYL canal started during his government only.
It was he who always took care of all 36 castes in Haryana.Works done in his regime are countless be it implementation of panchayati raj ,apni beti apna apna dhan yojana or famous Rajeev –longowal accord he has always played an important role in the construction of modern Haryana.
Bhajan lal ji is guiding Haryana janhit congress(BL) to serve the people of Haryana and accomplish all his incomplete works for the betterment of the state. Currently he is the Member of Parliament from Hissar parliamentary seat.
